This is, obviously, a Myrtle Beach tourism blog, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t spend a few minutes today talking about the death of Osama Bin Laden. The past few months have revealed to me a greater number of military personnel living in our area that I ever realized. Just to name a few, three new friends of our children have parents serving.
It’s hard for me to celebrate the death of anyone. Yet, I can understand why today’s news is a victory. Instead of spending time in jubilation, I want to send prayers and thanks to our Myrtle Beach families with those serving our country and to those everywhere in the world who are protecting us. You and your family’s willingness to sacrifice is acknowledged and appreciated. God bless you all. Be safe.
