Each summer, a few local movie theaters offer free and discounted kids movies. They’re a perfect, cheap way to entertain the kids in a cool environment where Mom can zone out for a few minutes. 🙂
The Grand 14 movie theater in Myrtle Beach at the Market Common has free admission and $1 kiddie drink and $1 kiddie popcorn. All shows begin at 10:00 AM. Their schedule is as follows:

The Cinemark Movie Theater at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach $1 admission ($5 for 10 movies, if you pre-pay), and all shows begin at 10:00 AM. Their schedule is as follows:

The Broadway 15 Carmike Cinema at Broadway at the Beach and Carmike Twelve Cinema, also in Myrtle Beach at Colonial Mall have a summer kids movie program on Thursdays with a $1 admission and $4 kiddie concession tray. Their schedule is as follows:
