I’d love to say I make nutritious, homemade meals 21 times a week, but the truth is, just like for most other families, we eat out every now and then. The cost of those restaurant visits can really add up. I’ve found two sites that help keep the cost down by identifying deals on kids’ meals based on location.
OuttoEatwithKids.com allows you to search by town and day of the week, providing you with a list of restaurants that have specials on kid’s meal. Included in each search result is the establishment’s name, the details of the deal, address and phone number information, and a link to a Google map. You can also find OuttoEatwithKids.com on Facebook here. They are headquartered in Mount Pleasant, SC and cover North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
I’m also in love with KidsMealDeals.com. They offer a search similar to OuttoEatwithKids.com, using location and day of the week criteria. They, too, include restaurant contact information, location with a Google map, and deal details. The only downside is that there is loads of advertising on each of their pages. Where they make me love them, though, is their great mobile app for your smart phone. It allows you to do the same search using GPS to give you deals in your immediate area, gives you deals by day of the week, and add favorites. I use this one when we’re out and about and find ourselves hungry. We’ve also used it while traveling, as it appears to have nationwide listings. KidsMealDeals.com is also found on Facebook here.
