Fall is festival season in the Grand Strand. Here’s the schedule!

I moved to Myrtle Beach on this day, eight years ago.  I didn’t know anyone and it was a little intimidating at first.  But with the beautiful weather and scenery, I felt motivated to get out there and explore.  Little did I know, we arrived just in time for fall festival season.  I swear I’ve never been to so many in such a small span of time within so few miles of each other.  I say this lovingly, though.  They’re all so much fun!

I can’t do a better job than ListenUpMB did listing the festivals.  Check out the full schedule here.  Next weekend is one of my favorites – a double feature of the St. John’s the Baptist Greek Festival and the North Myrtle Beach Irish Italian Festival.  Diet schmiet.  Can anyone say baklava and cannolis in the same day?  And, as my daughter just reminded me, typically there are puppies at the Irish Italian Festival since the Humane Society has a booth.  Make sure you check out the Irish dancers on the stage, too!

Hope to see you at these festivals, Ocktoberfest (take your pick of which one), The Chilympics, Taste of the Town, and anything else I can fit in!
