It’s insane how much baby and child-related products cost, isn’t it? I whined about how much school supplies set me back a few weeks ago. I vow, ever year, to really budget myself for Christmas and then mourn each January when the realization hits that I didn’t stick to it. Expectant parents, did you know that it can cost literally thousands to furnish and decorate your new baby’s nursery? Myrtle Beach area moms know and they’ve put together a fantastic event to help some make money and others save a lot!
The semi-annual Beach Babies Kidsale is this weekend. It’s a consignment sale. In case you don’t know what that is, it’s when families gather their gently used items and sell them. Family 1 benefits from the income from the sale and Family 2 benefits from getting a quality item at the fraction of the cost of purchasing it new.
The sale is located at the old SBB location across from Inlet Square Mall. The address is 11980 Highway 17 Bypass. You can check out their website for more information. You can also connect with them on Facebook.
Expecting, new moms, military moms, and grandmothers can shop at the pre-sale on Friday, September 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The sale opens to the general public on Saturday, September 10th at 9:00 a.m. You can see the full schedule here.
Happy bargain hunting!
