Mr. MyrtleBeachforFamilies and I attended the 2011 Taste of the Town even tonight at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and had a great time.
We’ve lived here for over eight years and have been only one other time. In that experience, it felt expensive, too crowded, and generally chaotic. That may have been, though, because we were pushing a ginormous double stroller filled with toddlers who wouldn’t eat anything offered to them. It was frustrating to say the least. This year we went with sans the little ones and had a much better time. It was still super crowded with long lines. I believe we dropped almost $75, so I believe this qualifies as expensive. But we could take our time, try new things, and chit chat with no pressure (or whining).
We enjoyed more food than I care to admit and did a good bit of sharing. Note to self – share with hubby more often. The variety was so good! Here are a few pictures I tweeted during the event @MBforFamilies.
