As much as I hate walking into any given store in October and seeing Christmas trees, my mind can’t help but to wander to candy canes and hot chocolate. Over the past week I heard and was reminded of a few events that I’m looking forward too.
The Coastal Youth Ballet’s presentation of The Nutcracker – It’s simply beautiful. We’ve attended performances for the past two years and I’m brought to tears each time. It show is so very professional and gorgeous. This year the shows are on December 10th at 5:00 p.m. and 11th at 3:00 p.m. Adult tickets are $25, children aged 16 and under are $15. The shows are at Myrtle Beach High School and there are typically gifts and concessions available for sale. I can’t recommend it enough! Call 843-651-2006 for more information or to purchase your tickets.
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland – A huge holiday lights display choreographed to music, holiday treats, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, balloons, and so much more at Pelican’s stadium? I’m in! The show begins on November 11th and runs to January 8th, from dusk to 10:00 p.m. Pricing is by carload, with a car or mini-van costing $25.50. Rates rise as the vehicle gets bigger. You can check out their site for more information. It looks like so much fun!
