This weekend, the Grand Strand will celebrate the birthday of a literary master – Dr. Seuss!
The Children’s Museum of South Carolina is hosting a Whoville Celebration on Saturday, March 3, 2012. It begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 2:30 p.m. At the event the classic tales of Seuss will be read each hour and children will have the opportunity to do corresponding crafts and play games. Stone Theatres’ Grand 14 at Market Common is sponsoring the event and will be holding drawings for free tickets to see The Lorax throughout the day.
So, who wants to go to Whoville? You want to go, you do-ville. Okay, I’ll stop trying to mimic the master, but you get the point. If you’ve got a Dr. Seuss fan, this is going to be so much fun!
For more information and full schedule, check out the event page on Facebook. Hope to see you there!
