Update, March 5, 2012: In case you didn’t notice, it’s Girl Scout cookie booth time! A few were cancelled this past weekend due to rain, so if you see your local troop out at the grocery store, WalMart, or Chick-Fil-A this weekend, through March 23, 2012, consider buying a box or two.
Thank you!

It’s Girl Scout cookie time in the Grand Strand. Our troops of dedicated little girls and young women are asking friends and family to help support their organization by buying a box of yummy deliciousness. Sales began last Friday, January 13, and will continue through Monday, January 30, 2012. Cookies will be delivered the last week of February/first week in March.
Beginning on February 25, 2012, these same hard-working gals will be cookie booth sales. That’s when they’re perched in front of your local grocery stores, for example, asking if you want to purchase a box. Those sales run for four weeks, concluding on March 23, 2012.
If you’re interested in learning about the variety of cookies for sale and how to find a troop near you selling them, visit GirlScoutCookies.org for more information. You can also read this article by TheDigitel Myrtle Beach, which contains several helpful links including one for the Girl Scouts cookie locator app for your smart phone.
If you are willing to buy a box, let me thank you, in advance, for your support. A portion of the money goes back to the individual troops to help fund things, like camping, for the girls.
