*scroll down for latest updates*The news was heartbreaking on Saturday when we learned that a local youngster, Jada Bennett, was lost in a fatal car accident on Highway 501. The family has two surviving children and the details are unclear as to the condition of the parents.
Dad was an employee of Red Lobster near Coastal Grand Mall and there is a community effort to raise money and collect food for the family through that location. The address is 1230 N Retail Ct, Myrtle Beach, 29577. The number there is (843) 445-9786 and the restaurant will be matching $500 of donations.
