My wish for you and your students in this new school year

Tomorrow is the first day of school for Horry County students and many more will embark on preschool in private and church programs in the following weeks.  I want to wish each and every family a school year filled with genuine happiness, productivity, pride, success, and safe returns home each afternoon.  May the teachers who touch your lives be patient, kind, loving, enthusiastic, and extraordinary. 

We’d love to see photos of your little ones as they start this new year!  Add them to our Facebook wall and let everyone oooh and awwww!

And as you’re out and about for the next week, be extra patient on the roads and drop off/pick up lines.  Bus drivers, kids, and parents are working on finding their groove.
