This one is easy. For the past million years I’ve worked from home. Okay, so maybe it’s more like the last 15 years. Regardless, I’ve learned two things. Procrastination is really easy and working without distraction for a short amount of time can really clear your afternoon schedule. I subscribe to latter because I truly love an hour for my daily indulgence.
From 1:30 – 2:30 I eat lunch with one of my best friends, Carrie Bradshaw. The E! Network has a “Ladies who lunch” marathon, and they run episode after blissful episode of Sex and the City. I’ve only recently developed an appreciation for Aidan. I had forgotten what a big jerk Big was. I love the episode where Miranda begs newborn Brady to tell her why he’s crying non-stop. I love the one with Nina Katz. I could go on and on.
One day I got kick that I was eating ice cream and so was Carrie. We’re like twins, though she does dress significantly better than I do. And yes, I realize she’s a fictional character. 🙂
