I literally thank God every day for the gift I’ve been given in my children. I don’t typically write about them, but let me assure you that they’re wonderful.
My older daughter is kind, sensitive, and responsible. She loves caring for children younger than her. If I could use a crystal ball to see into her future, she’ll be a preschool or kindergarten teacher. She makes me so proud and even though she’s edging ever closer to being a teenager, I still love that she is generous with hugs and snuggles.
My younger daughter is a whip. She’s got a witty sense of humor, a mathematical/engineering mind more complex than mine, and her own sense of self that make her so unique. She taught me that everything I thought I learned from raising her older sister was useless. She’s made me think about who I am as a mom and woman more than I ever thought I would.
I always knew I wanted to be a mom, but it wasn’t until I became one that I learned just how much.
