Update 4/30/14 6:30 p.m. – It looks like Myrtle Waves has discontinued this deal, at least for the time-being. I’ll check back and let you know when it’s back! According to their site, we should see this price again soon.

There’s a great deal going on right now on season passes to Myrtle Waves Water Park. For only $39.99 per person (plus online processing fees) you can enjoy unlimited access to one of the best water parks on the Grand Strand. It’s located off Highway 17 South at 10th Avenue North and features water features for all ages. Click here for more details and to purchase.
So what happens if you’re like me and purchased your season passes in December for $59.99? I called and asked what the deal was. It turns out that Myrtle Waves is under new management as of last Friday. While the gal I spoke with said they did not have an obligation to honor those passes as they did not experience the revenue from them, they were happy to honor them. She also said each passholder in my family would receive a refillable sports bottle and $10 gift card. Fair enough. If you purchased your season passes at the higher rate, make sure to mention it when you go to the park to get your cards.
In the past, daily admission to Myrtle Waves was close to $30. There’s no information on the site what it will be this year, but I think it’s safe to assume it will not be dramatically less. A season pass for $39.99 is a fantastic price!
Myrtle Waves opens on May 24th. There’s no word on how long this price will last!
