One of my favorite places on earth, the Myrtle Beach State Park has a full line-up of fantastic programs this summer. I’ve been to almost all of them. Only a few have an additional fee. The rest are covered in the price of admission to the park or with your annual pass.
The programs are fun, entertaining, hands-on, and educational. If you’re interested in keeping the kids learning and thinking about science during the summer, these programs are a great opportunity. Plus, if you’re local, they help them feel invested in their community. Grand Strand kids are nuts about sea turtles and we owe much of that enthusiasm and passion to the Myrtle Beach State Park interpretive rangers.
If you’re interested, they also have a few patch programs (not just for Boy or Girl Scouts!). The patches are earned by attending these programs.
