One of my favorite times of year along the Grand Strand is the fall. Yes, it’s because the humidity finally breaks. Yes, it’s because there are generally fewer people around. But most of all it’s because it’s festival season! No September or October weekend is complete without us celebrating a certain culture, type of food, or just general fallness. I can’t get enough of them (or funnel cakes)!
My friends over at TheDigitel Myrtle Beach put together a list better than any I could come up with, so I’ll send you their way. Have a look here. Bonus points to you if you hit more than one festival in a single day. Think Greek Festival and Irish/Italian Festival. Take the day off from cooking. And watching what you eat! Baklava and canolis within a few hours of each other. Yes, please!
Which is your favorite festival and why?
