I’ve mentioned it before, but the story times at Chapin Memorial Library had a lovely role in shaping my motherhood experience. They were recommended to me by another mom as a way to get out and meet people during our first few months of Myrtle Beach residency. More than twelve years later, we still love them and I know you will too!
Here is their winter and spring schedule for all ages. Enjoy!
BABY STORYTIME Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. For ages 4-18 months. Enjoy rhymes, fingerplays, music, bubbles and age appropriate toys with your child. Limited to 12 babies and their caregivers. Pre-registration is required 918-1275.
Winter/Spring Session: January 5th—May 17th.
TODDLER STORYTIME Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. Join us for stories, flannelboards, fingerplays, songs, and an age appropriate craft. Early learning toys are available for parent/child use after storytime.
Winter/Spring Session: January 6th—May 18th.
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME Thursdays 11:00 a.m. For ages 3 through 5 years old. Children enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, flannelboards and a craft. Literacy toys are available for parent/child use after storytime.
Winter/Spring Session: January 7th—May 19th.
SCHOOL AGE STORYTIME Wednesdays at 2:45 p.m. For Kindergarteners and older children. Enjoy longer stories, songs, fingerplays, flannelboards and a craft. Literacy toys are available for parent/child use after storytime.
Winter/Spring Session: January 6th—May 18th.
FAMILY DANCE PARTY 2nd Friday of each month at 11:00 a.m. For toddlers through preschool but all families are welcome. Consists of a story, fingerplays, movement and music. Come and dance with us and have fun.
