Myrtle Beach Restaurant Review: The Brass Tap

Located on the Corner of Deville and Lewis in the Market Common, The Brass Tap Myrtle Beach is a funky new eatery that welcomes families as quickly as it welcomes beer lovers. And let’s be honest, often that’s the same crowd! #kidssometimesmakeusdrink

We hadn’t planned to stop by the afternoon we dined at The Brass Tap, but there we were, on a warm Saturday, walking around and found ourselves to be hungry. While the Market Common has many delicious restaurants, we’ve been to them all a million times. That’s when I remembered reading about The Brass Tap and we set off to find it.

Just down the street from the Grand 14 movie theater, there sits the Brass Tap with both indoor and outdoor seating. Because it was so warm, we opted for an outdoor table. Though it should be mentioned that the indoors features fun games for families! We saw a huge Connect 4 and other options.

We started our meal with pretzels and beer cheese. Delish! Hubby sampled the craft beer selection and enjoyed tremendously.

For my entree, I got a Brass Tap Salad with chicken. It was fresh and amazing!

One daughter got a 5 Cheese Flatbread. She loved it! It was super cheesy and the dough was crispy.

The other daughter got the Angus sliders, which were perfect. She’s a young teen and sometimes a small eater. She was pretty hungry that afternoon, though, and there were no leftovers! To top it off, the fries were awesome! We all sampled them and I’m not sure she was too thrilled with that arrangement.

Hubby got a Godfather burger, which was fantastic with the waffle fries. He said the burger was very fresh, as was the bun. We’re suckers for good bread!

We had a great meal and the service was fantastic. As we sat, we people and dog watched. In fact, as we were leaving, a couple with a dog was entering the patio (which is fenced – convenient for both toddler and dog parents). A server was already working on filling a dog bowl with water!

The outdoor patio at The Brass Tap Myrtle Beach in Market Common was a fun place to eat, especially on a warm day. We can’t wait to return! I don’t know what it is, but anytime I can eat outdoors, I feel like I’m on vacation. Ahhhhh…

You can peruse the full menu here. Enjoy!
